Please join us for our Peer Consultation Group: Couples Therapy Clinical Topics

on Thursday May 8 from 10:30 to 12:00

with Miranda Croteau, LMFT, CST

The group will provide a space to collaborate, reflect and network with other couples therapists in addressing concerns of clinical relevance to the modern couple including discussions around the impact and role of technology on a couple, addressing infidelity, and the struggle of engaging both partners when one seems less invested in the process. We'll also carve out time for 1-2 case presentations to allow for feedback and consultation from the expertise in the room.

PPC Peer Consult Groups are offered to members only. Space is limited to ensure participants can benefit fully. Please see the attendance policy below.

Facilitator Bio:

Miranda Croteau is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT certified sex therapist. She is the owner of Witch City Couples Therapy in Salem, MA where she helps couples address sex as the elephant in the room. She works with couples to acknowledge the intense feelings that may come up when we talk about sex, but take the sting out of them so conversation around sex and intimacy feels easier. She works extensively with the queer, kinky, and CNM/poly communities as well as couples deciding to repair or part ways after a relationship rupture. She is the co-chair of the Training and Education Committee for the New England Association for Family and Systemic Therapy, as supervisor in training with AASECT, and under mentorship working toward her Approved Supervisor designation through AAMFT. She provides licensing supervision as well as case consultation to other mental health professionals.

Attendance and Professional Courtesy

As space in consultation groups is limited, we ask that all members who register for an event commit to attending. Leaders of these groups are compensated for their efforts, but the time and energy they devote to these sessions are priceless, and it is important that we honor their contributions. By attending your registered session, you are helping maintain a professional and respectful environment, not only for the group leader but for your fellow participants as well.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may not be able to attend. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify us as soon as possible and cancel your registration in advance to allow someone else to take your spot. This helps ensure that the group remains full and that all available spaces are used efficiently.
