Neurofeedback is a growing field in both the mental health and medical communities. It has been used to treat a wide array of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep, and more. In this presentation, Dr. Helfand will discuss the origin of the field, how it creates lasting change in clients, and an overview of research for different patient populations. He will also address the recent spotlight on neurofeedback in the news due to Betsy DeVos’ involvement in the field, and hopefully a current neurofeedback client will be present to answer questions and share his experience throughout his treatment.
