Short Bio or Description of your Practice (Optional)
I offer in person sessions in Quincy Center.
The most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Being able to connect with another human being and explore our innermost thoughts and feelings is where healing begins. I do not see an individual as a single entity, but an intersection of bio/psycho/social influences. Whether its gender, race, sexual orientation, a life change, an illness, a loss, a traumatic event, or dynamics from your childhood that impact our sense of self, my treatment goal with you will be identifying the impact of these experiences and learning to cope more effectively.
Ideal client is 18+ and wants in person treatment. I work with people experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and those who have been impacted by trauma. I also have experience with people of all genders struggling with substance use, self harm, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders. I have training in Mindfulness, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
I have experience working with people of all genders, sexual orientations, and racial/ethnic backgrounds. My style is eclectic and relational and typically I will use parts of each of these in order to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that meets your individual needs. I am not a "worksheet kind of therapist".
