Short Bio or Description of your Practice (Optional)
I have been trained in various treatment modalities and use what is most appropriate for the client. The method I most use, however, is Narrative Therapy, wherein clients bring out, or “externalize,” the stories that they tell themselves about their life, examine the stories objectively, gain self-awareness, thus seeing a way forward from where they now are.
Hopefully the issues people bring can benefit from my 20 years of work in mental and physical health, including hospice and palliative care, and teaching graduate social work courses at Salem State University. I am familiar with all matter of illnesses and a full-range of psychosocial issues including grief and loss.
