Short Bio or Description of your Practice (Optional)
I am patient and supportive and strive to help my clients find their own paths through life. My specialty is in treating adjustment disorders and the range of anxiety disorders. I primarily work with young women (teens and young adults). I worked in community mental health for over 8 years and draw from a broad range of experience, having provided counseling in diverse settings, from the emergency room to mental health clinics, a college counseling center, schools, and homes. I enjoy tailoring eclectic approaches to best fit the needs of my clients.
Primary modalities used include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, feminist-relational therapy, animal-assisted therapy (I have a therapy bunny), walk & talk therapy, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies.
